Dave Braden is a brand identity designer
and artist who lives in San Francisco, California. His paintings, drawings and doodles provide him an opportunity to explore ideas outside of the graphic design realm in hopes that, someday, the two worlds converge and reveal something profound. His artwork ranges from good, to fair, to absolutely terrible, depending upon whether or not you've had a good night's sleep.
Dave approaches the creative process ever mindful of the power and responsibility of visual communication, without recipe or precept, and looks for answers in uncommon places. A known antagonist of post-millennium gadgetry, Dave finds life's fulfillment in the simple, small pleasures. Ink and paper. Charlie Parker. The words of Leonard Cohen. Flour, water and salt. Dave is the co-founder of The Engine Room, Inc., a brand identity design firm widely recognized for its work with progressive food/artisanal businesses in the United States.
